Blended Health Surveys

The word “blend” has several definitions. According to Merriam-Webster, it can mean “to combine into an integrated whole” or “to produce a harmonious effect.” Essentially, this is what we have done with our new blended health surveys. In each instance, we have combined two QualityMetric health surveys into one to create a more efficient and comprehensive tool.

The creation of QualityMetric’s blended health surveys stems from our realization that one of the best ways to gain a complete understanding of overall health and well-being is by combining measurement tools. We now offer several of these tools, including the SF-12v2 Health Survey with PIQ-6™.

Blended health surveys offer a unique perspective on patient health not previously available in one tool. This perspective, coupled with the ability to measure health from the patient’s point of view, can pave the way to more comprehensive and targeted care.
