QM Certified Scoring (Software)
QualityMetric’s QM Certified Scoring (Software) is ideal for organizations across the health care spectrum that want practical, cost-effective, and proven certified scoring of vital SF™ health survey data.
How It Works
The software is provided via an email that contains a download link. It is installed on a single desktop and activated with a key supplied by QualityMetric. Data can be imported via a .CSV text file, entered through a data grid, or obtained by allowing patients to complete the survey on-screen.

The QualityMetric 2009 Norming Study population norms are now available. The study surveyed 8,000 people in the U.S. general population and was completed in two waves in the spring and fall. The norms collected allow for comparison of patient health and well-being to that of the general population average, and maintain the ability to be segmented by age or gender, or age-by-gender. |
Key Features
Includes eight health domain scores, plus physical and mental component summary measures.
- Medical Expense Predictor – for some surveys, this predicts health care expense risk for an individual, based on sample data and its corresponding percentile in the general population.
- Features first-stage depression screening.
- Offers project-based data management.
- Provides backward compatibility with previous software versions (e.g. projects, databases).
- Offers support for Windows 7 and 64-bit Windows Operating Systems.
Optional Features
- Utility Index – for health economic evaluations.
- Response Consistency Index (RCI) – for data quality indications.
- Data Quality Evaluation (DQE) – proactively identifies problems with data quality.
- Missing Score Estimation (MSE), formerly called Missing Data Estimation (MDE) – incorporates algorithms for calculating scores for partially completed surveys.
Reports
Once data is entered into the software, a variety of comprehensive reports can be obtained for patients and providers. This allows for comparisons among treatments, programs, and populations. Reporting capabilities include efficient exporting of data into various formats (e.g. Excel, Word, PDF), and the ability to select a specific time point (e.g. baseline or visit one) and run reports for all surveys taken at that time. In addition, QualityMetric reports were recently updated to include the use of Flash, enhancing both content and appearance.
