QM Certified Scoring (Web)

QualityMetric's QM Certified Scoring (Web) is ideal for organizations that are collecting SF™ health survey data as part of a larger system for measuring health outcomes. This Web-based solution allows clients who collect SF data in their own software system to ensure that this vital health outcome information is scored accurately and efficiently.

How It Works

Survey responses are passed from the client’s own (or 3rd party) data collection/storage system via the Internet to QualityMetric’s scoring web service. We use our proven scoring algorithms to score the item responses and return the results in real time to the client in XML format.

Key Features

  • Includes eight health domain scores, plus physical and mental component summary measures.
  • Provides Missing Score Estimation (MSE), formerly called Missing Data Estimation (MDE), which incorporates algorithms for calculating scores for partially completed surveys.

Optional Features

  • Utility Index – for health economic evaluations.
  • Mental Health Inventory Conversion – improves measurement of mental health.
  • Medical Expense Predictor – for some surveys, this predicts health care expense risk for an individual, based on sample data and its corresponding percentile in the general population.

Note: Each client is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided and for properly integrating their application with QM Certified Scoring (Web).

"The do-it-yourself approach to scoring can, and has, resulted in significant data quality problems. There are alarming examples of what can go wrong, and the results can be very costly."
