QualityMetric was founded in 1997 to apply the latest technologies to scientifically valid health surveys like the SF-36^® and SF-12^®. The goal was to use emerging technologies as ubiquitous as the Internet and complex as computerized adaptive testing (CAT) to make these surveys more accessible to patients, and the results more useful and meaningful to decision-makers.

We have achieved this goal largely because of the hard work and technical skills of our IT department. Headed by Bob Frick, Vice President, Technology and Operations, and supported by a staff with more than 75 years of collective experience, QualityMetric is ready and able to work closely with client IT departments. For those clients with limited or no technical staff, QualityMetric is willing to perform important IT functions.
