Allyson Ross Davies, PhD, MPH – Principal, ARD Consulting LLC and Interim Chair of the Board, QualityMetric Incorporated
Dr. Davies is a founding director at QualityMetric and a former member of the executive team, having led both business development and product and service development activities. A nationally recognized expert in the measurement and use of patient-reported outcomes, she currently heads ARD Consulting LLC, which focuses on issues related to healthcare quality and improvement. Dr. Davies formerly served as interim CEO at MassPRO, Inc., a healthcare quality improvement organization that provides quality oversight for Medicare and Medicaid programs in Massachusetts, where she was the first non-physician chair of the board. She also served on the board of directors for the American Health Quality Association. Dr. Davies spent more than 13 years consulting to and working in hospitals, managed care companies, and health systems on outcomes measurement and monitoring systems, and 12 years at the RAND Corporation, where she was a lead analyst on the Health Insurance Experiment.
Charles Beckman – Director, Corporate Development and Venture Capital, Humana Incorporated
During his 15 years with Humana, Mr. Beckman has been responsible for the oversight of Humana's strategic investments as well as a participant in the strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) function. Specifically, he has been responsible for the development and management of provider networks, as well as strategic planning for various Humana specialty products. Most recently, Mr. Beckman played an integral role in the overhaul of Humana's long-term planning and M&A function. Over the past five years, Mr. Beckman has been responsible for ten transactions for Humana.
James E. Dewey, PhD – Co-founder and Former Chief Innovations Research Officer, QualityMetric Incorporated
During the past 16 years, Dr. Dewey has provided key healthcare expertise in the development of software to measure health risk and functional status and well-being. Before co-founding QualityMetric Incorporated in 1997, Dr. Dewey served as Vice President of the Managed Care Division at HCIA Inc. He was also founder and CEO of Response Technologies, Inc., which developed the RT-2000 Immediate Response Terminal and other point-of-care hardware and software, including the first software to support the collection, scoring, and reporting of SF-36® Health Survey data.
