The first computerized adaptive disease-specific survey developed, DYHNA® Headache Impact draws on 47 items in item pool
selected to capture the effect of headache and its treatment on an individual's functional status and well-being.
Online delivery of the survey uses QualityMetric's DYNHA (computerized adaptive) health assessment software to
select and score only those items required to calculate a precise score for the individual. While the software offers a
unique short-form survey for each respondent, all items have been calibrated on the same metric, enabling patients to compare
their own scores over time and clinicians to compare scores across patients and over time.
Useful both for screening and for monitoring changes in disease impact, the survey can be completed in a clinical
practice setting, at home, or in other locations. A simple patient-specific results report with interpretation guidelines
can be stored in an online Health Notebook or printed for immediate or later use. This report may also be customized to fit the client's particular requirements.
DYNHA Headache Impact can be used alone, paired online with one of the SF™ Generic Health surveys,
or included in a customized Burden of Disease Impact Assessment system.
A fixed-length short-form, the six-item Heachache Impact Test™ (HIT-6),
is available in paper-and-pencil format in 22 languages in addition to US English.
