QualityMetric has devoted more than a decade of scientific endeavor to standardizing health outcome measurement and to offering practical, cost-effective, and easy to use products and services that improve health care and reduce costs. The QualityMetric Health Outcomes™ Scoring Software 2.0 represents the latest innovation in this longstanding tradition.

This new version of our popular scoring software is designed to assist users in evaluating the quality of their survey data and improving the validity and precision of scoring. The QualityMetric Health Outcomes™ Scoring Software 2.0 is now available for use in scoring the SF-36® Health Survey, SF-36v2™ Health Survey, SF-12® Health Survey, SF-12v2™ Health Survey, SF-8™ Health Survey, and SF-10™ Health Survey for Children.

QualityMetric Health Outcomes™ Scoring Software 2.0 offers:

  • Improved data entry capabilities: In addition to importing data in a .CSV text file (available in the original version), version 2.0 allows data to be entered using the Data Grid or by allowing participants to complete the survey onscreen, which can lessen keying errors during the collection process.
  • Expanded reporting options: Standardized, easy-to-read reports are now available. You can view survey results by individual, by provider and in aggregate. The aggregate reports include the total sample, by age, by gender, and tabular data.
  • Project-based management of data: Version 2.0 allows you to organize your data by project type, e.g. survey type, recall period, norms. Data can also be imported or exported from storage devices locally and over a network.
  • Data Quality Evaluation (DQE): DQE proactively identifies problems with data quality, which is important to achieving precise and valid health status measurement.
  • Missing Data Estimation (MDE): MDE provides real time options for recovering cases with missing data, allowing you to increase the percentage of responses scored and included in any population monitoring effort.
  • Other features: Medical expenditure risk prediction is available in the provider report. This provides the predicted expenditure risk for an individual based on sample data and its corresponding percentile in the general population. First stage depression screening is also available. It compares the percentage of respondents at risk for depression to the general population. For health economic evaluations, the Utility Index is available as an optional purchase.
Administration of any QualityMetric™ Health Survey requires a commercial license or permission, which is available by (clicking here).
